The city of Järvenpää has an active local entrepreneurs' association. Järvenpään Yrittäjät ry works closely with the city on a wide range of business-related issues. It is in the interest of both parties to have a vibrant city with jobs.

On 5.3.2020, the Entrepreneurs' Association met with Mayor Olli Naukkaris. Among the city's key partners, the Director of Vitality Marko Lehenberg and Business Services Manager Susanna Aramo were also present. Topics of discussion included the development of the city centre, city procurement and the city's financial outlook.

The Järvenpää Entrepreneurs' Association Board has locally decided on the following themes for 2020:
- municipal participation (procurement, business impact assessments, etc.)
- development of the city centre
- improving the conditions for sole proprietorships
- new projects in Järvenpää
- development of cooperation with educational institutions

Through the local entrepreneurs' association, members can find, among other things, lobbying, networks, partners, interesting events and activities.

All in all, Järvenpää has around 3 000 companies of different sizes and from different sectors. Järvenpää Entrepreneurs has around 700 member companies.
The Finnish Entrepreneurs are a national association, the Uusimaa Entrepreneurs are a regional association and the Järvenpää Entrepreneurs are a local association of entrepreneurs.
