Tuusulanjärven Lämpö Oy's press release 25.3.2024 at 08.00

The name of the energy company providing district heating and energy services to its customers in Järvenpää and Tuusula will change on 25 March to Tuusulanjärven Lämpö Oy. The name change is based on the company's aim to be a more local partner for its customers in the Järvenpää and Tuusula areas.

Founded in 2020, the company previously operated under the name Vantaan Energia Keski-Uusimaa Oy. The company was established when Fortum sold its district heating business in the Tuusula and Järvenpää area to a consortium of Infranode, Keva and Vantaan Energia.

Although the name will change, the most important thing remains the same - the heat for the Tuusula and Järvenpää areas will continue to be produced at the Järvenpää power plant as reliable and clean local heat.

The company name change does not require any action from our customers or partners. The company's business name will also remain the same.

Tuusulanjärvi Lämmö is owned by Infranode (59%), Keva (31%) and Vantaan Energia (10%). Vantaan Energia will continue to provide the operational activities of the company as a service.
