Employment expert  

  • Promote the placement of foreign-language workers in companies in Järvenpää and create a service concept that meets the needs of companies to recruit foreign-language workers.
  • To disseminate the service to businesses by raising their awareness of what to expect when hosting foreign language workers (demographic relations, orientation, residence and work permit issues, family reunification, resettlement support and family services).
  • Gather information, develop and model a package of information for businesses based on existing work life knowledge and/or national models, adapted to local needs.

The task requires 

  • A solution-oriented and self-directed approach, as the role involves working independently in multi-disciplinary networks, producing knowledge, and going out into companies and networks to implement co-creation.
  • Good meeting and interaction skills, the ability to understand the perspectives of different actors, the ability to take into account the needs of customers and stakeholders, and the ability to build networks.
  • Good IT and information retrieval skills, knowledge of legislation and service provision, as well as knowledge of public administration and the service system in the welfare area.
  • Good oral and written Finnish and English language skills, other language skills are an advantage.
  • Diverse communication and marketing skills.

Progress of recruitment 

We use anonymous recruitment for this recruitment. In the first stage of processing, the personal data and attachments of the applicant are hidden from the job application. Eligibility 

Relevant basic vocational qualification and specialised vocational qualification or relevant university degree combined with sufficient professional experience and skills. Good oral and written Finnish and English language skills are required.

Terms and conditions of employment 

  • The employment relationship is fixed-term for 10 months starting from 1.2.2024 or according to agreement.
  • The terms and conditions of employment are determined in accordance with the KVTES.
  • The salary per position is 2858,73€/month + possible experience allowances (max 8% of the position salary).
  • Working hours are universal 38,25h/week.
  • Probationary period 4 months
