Around 3 000 companies have chosen Järvenpää as their location. The figure below shows the situation of the largest private sector employers in Järvenpää from 2016 to 2019.
At the end of 2019, the top three positions will still be held by Valmet, Rocla and Lidl distribution centre. The number of employees at the Lidl distribution centre rose by a staggering 185 in the year. This is the result of aggressive recruitment after the new Järvenpää distribution centre became fully operational. Valmet also increased its headcount by 40.
