Auramo Oy is part of the globally operating Bolzoni Group. Auramo has 70 years of experience in Finland, the last 5 years of which have been in Järvenpää. Auramo is a metal company that currently employs around 80 people. More than half of the workforce is employed on the production side.
In Järvenpää, Auramo is one of the 15 largest private sector employers in the city," says Susanna Aramo, Business Services Manager.
Almost 100% of Auramo's production goes to the forest and paper industry. Auramo manufactures a variety of forklift attachments for the forest and paper industry.
Technical Director Mika Hyyrynen and Production Manager Toni Kyösti say that around 1.1 million kilos of steel plate are consumed each year. The average lead time for the finished product is 2.6 weeks. Järvenpää's production produces customised products using product platform thinking and the basic principles of mass customisation. Auramo's export share is up to 90%. Central Europe is the main market, with the US market currently in the pipeline.
Auramo is a member of the Case Metalli group in Järvenpää, which aims to bring metal sector jobs and employees together, contribute to the sector's education to meet the skills needs of working life and come up with measures to improve the image of the sector.
