In early 2022, a new hotel, Sointu, will open in the premises of the former Scandic Hotel in Järvenpää, right next to Järvenpää station and the city centre. The exact opening date will be announced later.
Sointu is described as a modern digital hotel concept. It has 84 fully renovated hotel rooms, catering to the most demanding tastes.
"The new hotel operator and its ancillary services will support both the business community in Järvenpää and the surrounding area, and is an extremely important part of a vibrant city. Good transport connections will also enable smooth business connections to the airport, which will further increase the attractiveness of the city as a location for new companies," says Marko Lehenberg, Director of Vitality.
"The location of the hotel is excellent. It is easily accessible by train, car and bus. Järvenpää city centre and its services are within walking distance from the hotel," says Noora Aartio, the hotel project manager.
