Bumma Pizza & Bar will open on Friday 4.6.2021.Bumma is a long-time dream of two Järvenpää entrepreneurs, Jari Siren and Simo Räsäsäsä, to create a restaurant in Järvenpää that serves artisan pizzas with a good "meinig".
Jari Siren is a well-known restaurateur who has been involved in the establishment of ten restaurants in Järvenpää. Tervanokka Harbour, among others, is a joint effort of Jari and Simon.
Artesan pizza, microbrewery products and good vibes
When Totti announced his retirement and the best commercial building in Järvenpää became vacant, the duo finally decided to make their dream come true. The name Bumma comes from the fact that Simo Räsäsäsen's child, when he was small and hungry, used to point to the food and chant "bumma bumma". Even then Simo knew that one day he would open a restaurant called Bumma.
Pizzapohjaa on hiottu viime kesästä alkaen. ”Ravintolassamme tarjoillaan Italialaistyyppisiä artesaanipizzoja, joiden täytteet on huolella valittu laadukkaista raaka-aineista. Tällä hetkellä ruokalistalta löytyy vegaaninen vaihtoehto ja myös gluteeniton vaihtoehto tulee löytymään”, toteaa Jari Siren.
Juomapuolella suositaan pienpanimotuotteita. Valikoima on laaja ja se tulee vaihtumaan tiuhaan tahtiin. ”Lisäksi pyrimme siihen, että myös asiakkaat pääsevät vaikuttamaan juomavalikoimaamme. Otamme vastaan toiveita ja pyrimme toteuttamaan niitä parhaan mukaan”, kertoo ravintolapäällikkö Miira Lahti.
On weekends, we will organise various events, with bands and DJs playing regularly on our premises.
”Kuvataiteilija Oskar Palma on tehnyt tiloihimme kaksi maalausta ja olemme myös saaneet Blues Diggareiden kaikki vuosijulisteet seinillemme aina 1980-luvulta tähän päivään asti. Lisäksi muiden julistetaiteilijoiden töitä tulee seinille esille”, kiteyttää Simo Räsänen.
Bumma is aimed at anyone who appreciates good pizza and a relaxed atmosphere.
